Your organization was never meant to run on you alone.

Tanglaw Collective supports purpose-driven founders on Chicago’s South and West sides who know their mission was made for more.

Who Tanglaw Collective is For

Tanglaw Collective is for:

  • Community-based organizations (CBOs) serving Chicago's South and West Side

  • Organizations who can't currently pay for advisory services, but need the support just as much as those who can

  • Small, mission-driven teams who are stretched thin and running on passion more than infrastructure

  • Leaders who want an outside, honest perspective on what's actually happening inside their organization

This is not a scaled-down version of our paid services. It's a dedicated space built specifically for organizations serving our neighbors, at no cost.

A note from Our Founder

Much of my work sits at the intersection of organizational structure, operational sustainability, and the reality of leading and growing something worth building.

Over time, I noticed that many founders, teams, and community organizations weren’t struggling because they lacked effort, care, or commitment. They were struggling because the way their organizations operated often placed too much responsibility, pressure, and dependency on a handful of people.

Tanglaw Advisory and Tanglaw Collective were both created from a belief that sustainable impact requires sustainable structures, and that organizations doing important work deserve support that is thoughtful, human-centered, and built for the long term.

My work focuses on helping organizations better understand what’s creating strain beneath the surface, clarify what needs support, and build healthier ways of operating over time.

Thank you for being here with me, helping build what I hope to be a great resource for those doing great work in our city.
